Support Change via Cardano Blockchain 3.0
Clean Water Stake Pool supports Cardano's mission to bring a new standard in technology – open and inclusive – to challenge the old and activate a new age of sustainable, globally-distributed innovation.
Supporting Charity
Clean Water Stake Pool, a mission driven pool that donates 25% of pool profits to NGO clean water initiatives that help provide over 785 million people with access to clean water - supporting their health, education and economic vitality.
Decentralized Autonomy
While cloud-based stake pools are important and are often the only feasible option for a stake pool operator, they lack the autonomy of stake pools hosted on bare-metal servers; Clean Water Stake Pool utilizes three bare-metal servers - a producing node in Germany, and relays nodes in France (1) and Canada (1).

Delegating to a Stake Pool
There several factors to consider when delegating your ADA to a stake pool -
ROS: Large Stake Pools vs. Small Stake Pools
- The Return on Staking (ROS) for large & small stake pools averages out.
- Large pools produce fewer rewards each epoch.
- Small pools produce larger rewards every few epochs
Stake Pool Pledge
The amount of pledge delegated to a stake pool can be an indication of the stake pool operator's commitment; additionally, the pledge amount can have an effect on a pool's block-production and ranking. Many suggest the minimum pledge should be 250k.
Stake Pool Margin
A stake pool margin has little effect on delegation rewards, e.g. - the difference between a 2% and a 3% margin for 500 ADA in equitable rewards is only 5 ADA; always consider the hosting environment, the pool mission, and the pool pledge when delegating to a stake pool.
